Who We Are

Hi, I'm Isobel.

I started Isobel's Yoga because I wanted to create something I couldn't quite find myself — small, unhurried yoga classes where you actually feel seen, held outdoors in the kind of landscapes that make you remember why breathing matters.

I've been practising yoga for years, and the more I've learned, the more I've come to believe that the best yoga happens when you strip it back. No vast studios, no intimidating mirrors, no sense that everyone else knows what they're doing and you don't. Just a good class, a small group of people, and some open sky above you.

I'm a qualified yoga teacher and I'm continuously training — most recently heading to Portugal to deepen my practice, because I believe a good teacher never stops being a student.

What to expect

Classes at Isobel's Yoga truly are for all levels. If you've never tried yoga before, you are exactly who I had in mind when I built this. And if you've been practising for years, you'll find plenty here to challenge and nourish you too. These classes bring you back to the core principles of yoga which connect us to ourselves and to each other.

We meet weekly on Fridays at Quendon Village Hall, and throughout the year I run outdoor sessions in the countryside and collaborative events with some lovely local cafés, because a good class and a good coffee were meant to go together.

Sessions are kept small on purpose. Small enough that I know your name, notice how you're feeling that day, and can make sure the class actually works for you.
